Cake Cubes

Ingredients (makes about 8 cubes)

  • 1½ cups cake flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, room temp
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: chocolate ganache or drip topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C). Line or grease a cube mold (~2″ cubes).
  2. Combine dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, salt.
  3. Cream butter, then add eggs one at a time. Stir in milk and vanilla.
  4. Fold in dry mix just until combined—don’t overmix .
  5. Fill molds ~¾ full, tap out air bubbles.
  6. Bake 20–25 min, until a skewer comes out clean.
  7. Cool, then add a chocolate ganache drip: melt chocolate with cream, pour over cubes immediately or dip tops.
  8. Enjoy chocolate-filled pound cake in an adorable bite-sized form!
