🍦 Filling & Frosting Options
Vanilla Buttercream:
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3–4 cups (360–480g) powdered sugar
- 2–4 tbsp milk or cream

Optional Filling Ideas:

- Rainbow sprinkles (for a “piñata” effect)
- Marshmallows or gold-wrapped chocolates
🌟 How to Create the “Pot of Gold” Look
Option 1: Layered Piñata Cake (Hollow Center)
- Stack the two cakes with frosting in between.
- Cut a small hole (about 3–4 inch diameter) in the top layer’s center.
- Fill the cavity with chocolate coins, rainbow sprinkles, or candy pearls.
- Replace cut-out top or cover with buttercream.
- Frost cake in black or dark chocolate frosting to mimic a pot.
Option 2: Top Treasure Design
- Frost whole cake dark (black, deep brown, or green).
- On top, pipe a pile of gold coins using yellow/gold buttercream and top with gold sprinkles or chocolate coins.
- Add a rainbow candy belt (like Airheads Xtremes or sour strips) arching from one side to the other like a rainbow pouring into the pot.
- Optional: Pipe green shamrocks around the base or sprinkle edible glitter.
